This eccentric hemisphere ball valve is designed for reliable on/off and throttling control of abrasive media such as coal-water slurry, mineral slurry, fly ash, catalyst particles, and sewage sludge in mining, power generation, chemical processing, and wastewater treatment. It features a one-piece cast body made from ductile iron or cast steel with a hard-faced internal coating. The ball is a hemispherical segment mounted on an eccentric shaft that rotates away from the seat during opening, eliminating friction and wear between sealing surfaces. The seat is made of hardened stainless steel or ceramic metal composite, providing a self-cleaning scouring action that resists particle buildup and erosion. A blow-out-proof stem with double packing and a gearbox actuator ensures smooth operation. The valve includes a position indicator and manual override. Flanged connections per DIN or ASME B16.5. Pressure rating: up to 4.0 MPa (Class 300), temperature range: -20°C to 200°C, sizes: DN25 to DN500. Designed for bidirectional shut-off with bubble-tight sealing under high solids content.
