This mining pressure control valve is designed for underground mine dewatering systems to regulate pump discharge pressure and protect pipelines from water hammer. It automatically adjusts outlet pressure based on sump level or network demand, ensuring stable drainage operation while preventing pipe bursts and pump damage. The valve is certified for explosive mine atmospheres. Constructed from high-strength ductile iron or stainless steel with hard-facing (tungsten carbide or ceramic coating) on internal flow surfaces to resist abrasion from sand-laden water. A pilot-operated diaphragm actuator with a water hammer absorption chamber provides smooth pressure regulation and surge mitigation. An explosion-proof electric actuator or solenoid pilot is housed in an Ex d I Mb certified enclosure. All seals are abrasion-resistant polyurethane. The valve includes a pressure gauge with vibration dampener, a manual shut-off handle, and a position feedback sensor for remote monitoring. Flanged connections to mine standard dimensions. Working pressure: 0.5–6.4 MPa, size: DN50–DN300, temperature: 0–70°C.
