This hand-operated wafer butterfly valve is designed for efficient flow isolation and regulation in HVAC, water distribution, fire protection, food processing, and light industrial piping systems. It features a compact wafer-style body cast from ductile iron or stainless steel with a fusion-bonded epoxy coating for corrosion resistance. The disc is precision-cast from ductile iron with a nickel-plated or polished stainless steel surface, providing low flow resistance and self-cleaning action. A resilient EPDM or NBR liner forms the seat, offering bubble-tight shut-off and preventing media contact with the valve body. The valve is operated by a hand lever with a 10-position locking plate, allowing throttling at fixed angles. The stem is blow-out-proof with a double O-ring seal. Working pressure: up to 1.6 MPa, temperature range: -10°C to 80°C (EPDM), sizes: DN25 to DN600. Designed for quarter-turn operation with torque 60% lower than gate valves of equivalent size, enabling one-hand operation even on larger diameters.
